Becky Joan Springer is an intuitive painter, creative catalyst, recovering perfectionist, and unapologetic color lover. She sees herself as both an artist and a permission giver, inviting others to step fully into their own creative journeys. Creativity wove through Becky’s childhood, but like many, her artistic voice grew quiet under the weight of daily responsibilities. Before returning to painting in her mid thirties, she spent years as a college educator and counseling instructor, working closely with marginalized communities.

Although meaningful, the work left her burnt out and far from creative spaces. When she finally listened to the quiet whispers to pick up a paintbrush again, everything shifted. Becky became what she calls an “accidental” intuitive abstract painter, largely self taught and continuously in the process of unlearning.

While she loves the deep dive of solo studio time with music turned up and a little dancing mixed in, Becky’s true sweet spot is creating in community. She now leads intuitive painting workshops and retreats around the world, inspiring others to uncover their own unique visual voices.

She believes we are all artists, that creativity is a profound form of healing, and that the act of making together can be transformational. Her workshops weave together mind, body, and soul, offering a welcoming space for the broken, the shiny, and the rebels alike. It is a little island of misfit artists where stories unfold through paint and play.

At the heart of it all, Becky is here to hold space for joy, connection, and the magic of showing up as your whole authentic self.
